What Home Means to Me

You may think that home is the house you live in but to me, it is much more than that. Home is where my family is. No matter how far away I am, if my family is there I will feel at home. Home is where I feel comfortable. It is a place where I am safe, loved, and able to be myself. It’s full of laughter and smiles. My family can always put a smile on my face. Home is going sledding, and laughing all the way down the hill. It’s playing board games and card games with my family on the weekend. Home is my dog running up and greeting me when I get home from school. It's a place filled with good smells coming from the kitchen like fresh baked muffins or cookies. It’s playing ping pong with my siblings and baking cookies with my sisters. Home is not a material possession. It’s where the people I love and make me feel loved are
