Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is not just one thing, it can mean thousands of different things from a place to a feeling or a smell. Home should be something or somewhere that makes you feel happy, safe, loved, and comfortable. When your home you should feel safe, and protected but when you are homeless you are living outside and sleeping in the cold, I think that nobody should live and feel that they are not safe everyone should have a nice and safe comfortable space with a roof to live under and something that makes you feel like you are at home. Home does not just mean an object it could be anything but what home is to me is soccer I feel at home when I play soccer, I feel like all my bad thoughts and stress just disappears I feel like nobody can break me out of that feeling that is why I love soccer and that is why I have been playing for so long because it makes me happy. Something that my parents taught me was that it does not matter how you look or your background because everybody has a story and that their all different in their own ways and some people cannot trust someone because the way they look or their background, but the thing is that people can change it does not matter what you did or something that happened because you should forgive and treat people the way you would want to be treated because what if you didn’t have a home and people would give you bad looks and think low of you how would you feel if you didn’t have a home I don’t know about you but I would feel sad lonely scared and forgotten, forgotten by the people I loved like my family and friends and even pets I don’t think anyone should feel that way. Home is important because not everybody has one. There is lots of people that are homeless living on the streets which I think is not fair because everyone deserves a home and a place to stay especially because it’s very cold right now in Canada , I know that there are homeless shelters, but some people cannot stay there so I am not just writing this because my teacher made me, I'm writing this so maybe I can try to inspire people even though I'm only 12 years old I hope that people will listen to this message and try harder to help the homeless.
