A Shelter Called Home

When I step into this place I call home, I always know it is a special place. When I go in my bedroom, I remember when I was young and I had to share a room with my brother. Now I have my own room where I make comic books on my desk, look at my Pokémon cards or maybe read. I remember the time I played hide and seek, hid behind the closet and the door busted out of its spot. My kitchen is the place where I do chores and eat the food my parents cook. When I was young and short, I climbed up the shelves to get snacks from the pantry. All I need is 3 meals a day. My living room is the place where my family watches movies. When my cousins come over, we make forts and play nerf gun wars. We never clean up and my mom has to. Small or big, a home is a home with the memories you have, from fun to least best, to the worst, a home is different from one another. My home is special to me and my family.
