Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Home is a loving place where you can be sad, or even mad. All emotions are ok. But the emotions you want are love and peace. It's ok to feel sad and even mad. The other thing is when you are sad or mad you can talk to a parent or guardian,they will help you with the problem and you will feel better. Home needs and means to feel safe mentally and physically. Mentally as in you feel safe to talk about your feelings, and physically means to feel safe that you are not afraid to get hit, bullied and made fun of. Home is a safe place to go when times are hard. If you are a parent you would want your home to be loving, kind and fun but you want your kids to feel comfortable enough to express their true self at home and not just bottle it up,like they would when they feel uncomfortable. Another thing is you want home to be a place to spend time with family,friends and not just video games. My home is a safe environment to be in, my friends like it and I do too. It is so fun to go home from school, play some video games and then spend time with family. When I spend time with family, we play games and watch ¨try not to laugh videos.¨ Usually we burst out laughing! Home doesn't have to be a house it can be anything from a cave to a mansion. What home means to me is a beautiful happy loving place where you can be any emotion. Home is a place where you can speak your language and not get made fun of. But home is also a place where you can have fun and be yourself. That's what home means to me.
