A Home in Alberta

What does your home mean to you? Home is where I sit on my comfortable couch with my family. My couch is where my family devours well salted and buttered popcorn on me night. I snuggle close to my mom when I'm watching the movie. When I'm watching the movie I feel loved, comfortable and safe. My couch is as soft as a cloud. In my home I have a soft, strawberry scented stuffie, a stuffie that comforts me when I’m scared or sad. I call him Darth Panther. I have him beside my pillow on my bed and when I get scared I cuddle him. When I cuddle him I feel safe and warm. Home is where you hangout with the usually nice neighborhood kids. It is where you laugh, run and talk. Where you go into backyards and jump on their bouncy trampolines. When I play with the kids I feel happy and proud to be making new friends. Home is the province of Alberta where I can smell the fresh morning air. Home is where I can spend time with my family at sports tournaments. Where I can taste the lingering smell of maple syrup. Home is your province, territory or country. Your home doesn't have to be made of wood. You can live on the streets and still have a home. Homes are made of love, emotions and memories. You don’t have to live in a big house, you can live wherever you want.
