The Feeling Of HOME

To me I love how safe my home feels and how much comfort is in my home most importantly no matter where you live as long as your family is there. I love this quote by Cecelia Aham “Home isn't a place, it's a feeling.” My first home was in Eganville. My parents and I lived there, we didn't live there for long. Then we moved to Ottawa. When we moved to Ottawa my brother was born. Then my dad got posted to Petawawa… So then we moved to Petawawa. Then 5 years later my parents got divorced… We had to move to Pembroke with my mom, and on weekends we went to visit my dad at my grandparents, Even though my dad lives in Ottawa for work. Now that we live in Pembroke I switched schools. I now go to Rockwood. And every time we moved my family was right beside me. When my family is around I feel comfort. Especially when there are big storms, no power, hearing the trees shake because it's windy, having the house cold due to the breeze and hearing rumbling noises. My family would be right there even if they are scared. When I'm home alone I call my parents if I feel unsafe. It has happened many times. Sometimes my parents even come home to make me feel safe, that's only if I don't feel safe at all. Even my dog will be right beside me if I don't feel safe or scared. I hope you enjoyed my meaning of home and i love this network “the meaning of home” because they build homes for people who need them This is my favourite quote by Martina McBride “It's not the SIZE it's how much LOVE is inside the home.
