Home

Home can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people but to me home means safety. Having a shelter gives me a feeling of safety. Having a roof to protect me gives me safety from the outside. If my chicken coop did not have a roof, walls, and a lock my chickens would be dead because we have a lot of wild animals on our property. My house has a roof to protect my family and me. we would be wet from every storm and it would be very gross in the house. That’s what safety means to me Family gives me the feeling of safety. On a camping trip in my RV, our camping spot was less than 40 feet away from the ocean and there was a big storm one night. Our RV swayed from side to side, water poured through the window cracks and everything outside was blown away. It was scary but my family gave me a feeling of safety. Our stuff was getting broken into a few years and robbed. So I was scared that my house was going into. My family was there to give me the feeling of safety. Knowing that I am safe comforts me. I went hunting with my dad. It was like any other hunt. My dad and I were walking to our tree stand. We turned the last corner and at our feeding spot, there was a massive black bear. Now being raised outside I saw a lot of wild animals but a bear this size and so close it scared me. My dad shot the bear so I was happy. My dad gave me safety and that comforted me. A home is a wonderful place and it is safe to me.
