Home is Comfort

Comfort means a lot to me at home. Comfort at home is family, home smells, and shelter. My family helps comfort me when there are big storms, like lighting and thunder I normally get nervous. But my family always helps make me feel better. So we all look out the window and it is so cool because we live on the river and so it is dark, scary, and really wavy… so it is much more stormy if you know what I mean. My family always comforts me and we get through it. My family helps me go from nervous to happy with just the comfort of my family. In my house a lot of things comfort me like home smells. I will tell you some examples like the smell of my Mom and Dad’s cooking , the smell of burning candles, and just the amazing home smell!!!! But now back to my Mom and Dad’s cooking, my Mom and Dad’s cooking doesn’t just smell good it tastes good too! I don’t know about you but, just talking about my Mom and Dad’s cooking is making me hungry. The smell of burning candles is so peaceful and it calms me down, it just gives me a second to take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. Home can be any you want it to be or put your mind too! I love my house because it protects me from storms such as lightning, thunder, rain, snow, hail, and even wind. Home means a roof over my head, walls and doors. I also feel comfort because it is cozy and warm in my house. I hope you know that home means comfort to me. The meaning of home is different for everyone but this is my meaning of home.
