HOME TO ME

Home, home is a place where I feel safe , happy, loved. Home is where I feel warm and comfortable. When I am at home I feel like I can share all the wonderful things I’ve seen and done. Home is a place where I can share happy things, sad things and scary things. Home is a place where we can celebrate our cultures, home is where I feel safe. When I am at home I feel unstoppable. Home is a place where tall people cant take me. Where big dogs wont hound me, to me, home is the safest place on earth. When I am at home, I can run around my yard, help my mum plant flowers for our garden. Home is where all of my best memories are, that’s why, when I am at someone else’s house, it doesn’t feel quite right. Home is a place where I feel free, home Is where I can be myself, where I can be silly, goofy, mad, but most importantly happy. Sometimes, I wonder how it would feel if I didn’t have a home, if I didn’t have a roof over my head, if didn’t have a bed to sleep my nights away. Luckily, I don’t have to worry about that right now. I am safe and protected. I am grateful for what I have, and what I have is MY home.
