What is Home?

Home is the place of memories and love. Home is the sound of laughter and birds chirping in the garden. Home is the aroma of fresh, sweet cookies baking in the oven. Home feels like warm blankets as I fall asleep. Home is comfortable and warm. Home is where you grow up. Home is where you learn to fight the harsh world. Home is the place where you want to grow old. Home is where you want to come back to. Your family is like an eye, watching you, here for every step of the way. But the thing that makes MY home special is my amazing mom and dad. Home can be gone but it can never be forgotten. I’m so happy Habitat for Humanity is raising money and holding this contest to make a special home so people can know how it feels to have a cozy loving home.
