The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is the freedom I have and the stuff that I'm blessed to own. The meaning of home isn't just a place to stay, not just a place to "live" it's a place that you grow in and make memories in. It's a place to have fun in and hang out with friends, family, apprentices even, but most unfortunate kids don't have. So we should help them so they can maybe one day too feel this. If home were a taste it would be the taste of a nice bag of fast food aroma hitting the air on a friday night. If home were a smell it would be the smell of water and baby oil because of the slipnslides me and my friends make in the summer. I feel the sunscreen hitting my arms and my parents rubbing it in before I go for a swim in my uncle's pool. “Home” is where home is everywhere you feel best in, the place you feel like you can float off the ground and fly away. Home is where I am thankful for every breath I breathe, every step I step. Just the thought of being able to help these kids, not by support, not by money, well maybe sometimes money, but especially words. Words aren't just a form of communication but a way into someone's emotions, brain, soul and it's a way for somebody to feel like themselves. Whether it's a compliment or an insult it's a word that has meaning and specialty behind it. If someone calls you stupid think positively and think that means you can expand your knowledge. It doesn't matter if it's true or not. so be careful with what you say and what you do. Such words can also affect your environment, and yes I am referencing your home. A home isn't just a house, it's more.
