What Home is To Me

In the morning when I wake up in my warm cozy bed I can see the sun rise above the mountains and hear the dogs, Kobe and Bella, running around as fast as they can. Then I come upstairs, and I can smell some bacon and pancakes. I see my dad cooking them when I have some to eat and accidentally drowned them in syrup. I let Kobe or Bella outside, I can smell the beautiful fresh air flood the room. My sisters and go outside to climb trees in our backyard, and you feel the hard rough bark against our fingers. We also run around as fast as our legs can go, playing tag or rollerblading. Sometimes we play all day. After that we come inside for dinner and I take a bite and I can taste the warm creamy soup in my mouth. I have to go to sleep and I jump in bed and let my blankets cover me. They make me feel warm and cosey like a campfire. My home is a safe place for me, and I am grateful that I have a home that keeps me warm with people in it that love me so much.
