When I’m in my home I feel safe I feel shielded and defended My home protects me from danger My home guards over me Like a knight guards over his mighty king When I’m in my home I feel loved I feel cared for by my family In my home I know that I can express My thoughts and not get down I love my home and my home loves me When I’m in my home I feel my family’s compassion I know my family will stand up for me I feel so wonderful when my family is kind to me I appreciate my family so very much I really love my special home, I am really grateful In so many places people and families don’t have homes So thats why I want to say thanks To Habitat for Humanity for this wonderful opportunity We really love what they are doing They are trying their best so other families and people Can have the homes like our homes
