The Truth

Everyday when I walked Around the corner I saw my house and thought About what makes a home a home But then I thought what makes it my home Maybe the smell of A burning candle Maybe the sound of The t.v For me it is my family I remember what we have been through Now I don't have any of that Now I get on a bus it takes me To this weird place where other Many of other little girls and boy live Some of my things there get stolen Some of them get broken The on this that I will Never forget is the last time I saw my mom I cried for days I don’t know When I will see here again But when we are on the bus we drive Past my home now there Is this weird for sale sign In the front yard The one thing that I will always remember Is that I once lived there with my Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister
