If home were an animal, it would be the best kind. If home were a person it would be the nicest one to see. If home were a bird, its song would soothe you. If home were a rhino it would shield you with its strength, like the walls that protect you. If home were an animal, it would be warm. An animal to hug, and to have as a loyal pet. Home, like an animal, comes in many shapes and sizes. It can feel emotions and is more than just a thing. A home has a heart of joy, lungs that breathe familiar smells. Every room is another brain, with another pursuit. That is what home is like to me.
