How to Make a House a Home

A home and a house are two different things. A home is where you feel safe, loved, calm and where you can make lots of memories. Some of your memories might be sad but some are happy! When I think about home, I think of my memories! It’s the memories that make a house into a home. Just like when I go to my cabin every year my auntie runs something called the kid games. Its where we do super fun activities and at night, we set off fireworks! I love celebrating my birthday, it is my favourite tradition because everyone comes to see me get older every year! These are the kinds of memories that make a house a home. A house is just a building that you do not have any memories at yet. So, I hope Habitat for Humanity can help everyone make a house into a home! I think everyone deserves to feel safe, loved, calm and happy.
