You may think there’s no difference between a house and home It would be just saying love is the same as glass and chrome Houses are just a building with four walls and a roof But homes aren’t somewhere you need tangible proof To many people the comfort of a home is unknown But I am blessed to have one of my own My home is a place that is full of grace My home is a place where you are never in a race My home is a place of comfort and rest You don’t have to prove that you’re the best There will always be a hug available to you I know that people in my home will always be true In tough times and happy times where can I go? To my loving home, this I will always know My home is my loving family who will love me no matter what The doors of my home, they will never be shut My family always knows what’s best for me They will always be there to set me free This word that has one syllable and is four letters long Is somewhere that I will always belong
