What Home Means to Me

Home isn't just a place. Home is where you should feel safe, comfy, and loved. Home is where you make a ton of great memories. You should always feel 100 percent safe in your home. I love the safety of my home, and sometimes I never want to leave. If you don’t have all those cozy feelings, then that’s just not a home, I’d call that a house. A house gives you shelter, but it’s all the good things inside that make it a home! When I moved, my sister would cry some nights in our new home. She missed our old house where we had made so many happy memories as a family. It took time, but now our new house feels like a home. We brought all the important things from our old house to the new one; love, safety, and my family.
