My Home

My home is Canada, no matter where I go. My home is like a warm blanket, a welcoming hug wherever I am. My home has memories, they always make me smile and they can’t be replaced. My home smells like my parents, warm comforting food. My home is familiar, I know every place. My home is in my heart, it has a special space. My home has family, family I can trust. My home has friends, friends that won't leave me. My home is happy, I’m never missing a smile What makes me sad is some don't have happy memories tied to a home. What makes me sad is some don't have families waiting for them to come home. Some can't say they will have food or a warm house at night. The thing that makes me sad is that some will treat those without homes like they don't matter. My home is Canada, sadly many have to leave their homes due to war, famine, poverty and so much more. My hope is that they can come to Canada and love it as much as I do. My home is Canada and we need to help share it, everyone should experience home the same as I do.
