The Meaning of Home and Family

Home. What is home? Home is a place where you feel comfortable and free. Home can mean many things like family, spending time together, being happy, or just feeling free. Home is where you can be comfortable and not be judged. Home is also whoever and whatever you want it to be. Family is whoever or whatever you choose it to be. For example, Fin, aka one of my cats, is part of my family. Friends can be family too. Home is also a building where you can live and can eat food and sleep. I am grateful for my home and family. I have been to many homes and have lived in two. Home and family are similar in many ways. But the one thing that separates them, is home is where you and your family lives, and family is whoever and whatever you choose it to be. Habitat for Humanity is a place where evertime you enter a essay or poem to the website you help people all over the world. And who doesn’t like helping people? Like I said I’m grateful for all that I have and wish that everyone could have a home but not all people do. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping people all over the world that can’t help themselves.
