Meaning of home

A house is just four walls and a roof whereas a home is four walls and a roof that is filled with love. When you need peace, solitude, or just somewhere to relax, this is the spot to go. Most people have a place which they call a home. Some people might live in a large, luxurious house, while others might own a small cabin. The most important factor, however, is that it must be filled with affection and the people we care about, regardless of its size. The place where we feel the most secure and at home is home. And I'm fortunate enough to be able to say that my home is filled by the people I cherish the most and the people who care about me the most. Even though my home is not the most lavish, I am glad to live with people who give me a sense of security and safety. The majority of children do, but some of them don't realize how fortunate and blessed they really are. There are many unfortunate children who sadly don't have a place to live or people to love and care for them. Children who have a home are fortunate, whatever its size might be. We should all give thanks to God for providing us with families so that we can live in a home full of love and respect for one another. This gift could be taken away from us at any time. Similar to the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria, which devastated many homes and left many people without homes but with temporary shelters that they now share with strangers. We all need to understand that our homes are the finest places on earth and that we should devote the majority of our time to them. It is a paradise on earth for us.
