My Home

My Home A house is a roof over my head. A home is so much more. A home is a building that is held up by love. Home is a place where I can be myself. Home is where joy fills the air. A home is so much more than a roof over my head. A house is the sound of water dripping from a broken fossette. A home is so much more. Home is the sound of popcorn popping. Home is the sound of the birds chirping outside. Home is the sound of water boiling in the tea kettle. Home is much more than water dripping from a broken fossette. A house is the feeling of a rickety bed. A home is so much more. Home is the feeling of safety. Home is the feeling of a warm banket on my lap. Home is the feeling of the warm cup of hot chocolate on my hands. A home is much more than a rickety bed. A house is the smell of rotting wood. A home is so much more. Home is the smell of freshly baked bread coming out of the oven. Home is the smell of wet dog when they come back from a snowy day. Home is the smell of the warm and cozy blankets that just came out of the washer. A home is much more than rotting wood. A home is so much more than a house which is why people deserve a home.
