The Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home? The meaning of home is not just a house. It can be family, a neighbourhood, community, city, and country. My home sounds like video games in the basement, my sister talking to her friend upstairs, and dinner being made in the kitchen. My home smells like banana muffins being made by me and my family and the smell of the fresh clothes. The food you might taste are chicken nuggets, perogies, chicken noodle soup, and PB&J sandwiches. Some things you might see in my home are: food, a welcoming place, and a nice bed. For a house to feel like a home, it does not matter how many toys you have or how rich you are. It just matters that you have a roof over your head and a family to make you feel safe. It is a blessing to have a home and it would be a blessing for everyone else to have one too.
