You need to know what a shouse is because I have lived in one for two years. A shouse is actually a shed which is serving as a house for the time being. Shed plus house = shouse. My Mom and Dad built the shouse for us to live in while the century house on our farm was being renovated. We had all the basics we needed in the shouse. We are close to moving into our new house. But, what is a real house? A house is more than a structure. It is home. A home can be whatever shape or size you make it, but only certain things can make a home. The renovations to our new house are beautiful. But in the shouse, I had my family which is number one in my heart. I felt loved and safe in my home. I was warm and cozy, especially in my bed at night. My parents read with me before bed and kissed me goodnight. Our family is all together under the same roof and we enjoyed eating suppers together and watching movies and playing games together. I share my house with my two brothers, my mom and dad and our dog. So, it sure will be great to spread out a bit in our new home. I will have more privacy which is quite important to me at 11 years old. I will always have fond memories of the shouse. It is where we were a family for 2 years and it was home to me. We were close together and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
