My Backyard

The ground is soaking up the rain water like a sponge. The squirrel steals nuts from the tree like a robber. The bird fell out of the tree and made the tree branch crack. The woodpecker pecked like its beak is a jackhammer. Winter lasted a million years till it turned spring. The sun rays are reaching and pulling the flowers tall. The air blew in my mouth and it tasted like cool aid. The raindrop came down 100 miles per hour. The snow melted on the road and it turned the road into a lake. I am happy and calm to have nature around me and in my backyard. My backyard is home.
