A Home is a Home

A home is a home, not just some random place… Do you have the same feeling you get at home at a hotel? Do you get the same feeling of comfort when you lie on a couch at a store as you do when you lie down at home? Do you experience the same fantastic warmth of a home-cooked meal when you eat a free sample at a grocery store? If you have a place you call home, you should have all of these feelings. Everyone needs – and deserves – a special place called home. My home makes me feel, well, awesome! I feel like myself there. I look forward to going home each day, no matter where I’ve been. For me, if home was a sound, it would be the sound of my dog barking happily when my family arrives home, or my family laughing at a joke or anything really funny. If home was a taste, it would be a meal my mom made from scratch. If home was a physical feeling, it would be a warm hug or a soft, warm blanket. If home was a smell, it would be a clean, fresh, and simple smell. If home was a sight, it would be something comfy like a bed or couch or maybe even a blanket fort. Another sight for my home is a hug or a smile. That’s my home to me. I love my home.
