Home is a Place

Home. To me, home is where my family lives together, and where we have fun. Home is more than the googled definition of how it is lodging or a place to live in; it is somewhere you can express yourself, and not have to recreate your personality to fit in, all are welcome at home. Home is not always something you can explain, but you know when you are there. Home is where my pets are, whom I can see when I am having a bad day! I am home when I hear my dogs barking, excited because I am there, so I can play with them. Home is where I am proud of my youngest dog, Thyra when she jumps 3 feet! It is where my dogs whimper with puppy eyes to get freshly made brownies. In our busy kitchen you can always Home is where I can go to my bedroom to study, and I will move a couple of times to get out of the noise! Home. Home is a place in Rosedale, my neighborhood, where I live. Home to me is where everybody will laugh at your jokes, not with sarcasm in their voice. On family movie night I sit on my dad's bed and watch a movie in front of our unused electric fireplace. Home. Toronto's fantastic skyline is a beautiful sight enjoyed by the 6 million and more people in our amazing city. Home is where I go to school, and learn important things to help me in the future. Home is my place.
