What Home Means To Me

Home is the sense of safety. I feel safe when I am with my mom Kandi, dad Ben, brother Colby, and sister Blair in my bed wearing my new Christmas pajamas and covered in my comfy and warm blankets. I got my blankets from Colby and Blair. It is everything to me and my family to spend Christmas with each other especially because it is my dad’s birthday. Home is at the hockey rink because it is like a second home to me. Every weekend I am at the hockey rink. Eating rink food for lunch or supper. Personally, I like the burgers because of the melted cheese and the soft bun. I usually go out with my mom and her friends cheering on my brother hoping that they will win. The barn is also like a second home because every night after school I go outside with my sister and brother to go and feed the cows and calves. We all spend around one or two hours just sitting around on the fence seeing which one of the calves would come and sniff. Usually this doesn't happen but if it does, one would come up and we would try to pet their heads. That is why home is so important to me and my family.
