What home means to me

Home to me is gathering with all my cousins, aunties, and uncles on holidays. When we are all done supper, crowding into the living room to have a big family talk. To catch up on everyone's new and busy lives. Home to me is walking to the pen and sitting in the feeder with my sister while the cows eat the hay we are laying in. Home is getting off the bus and seeing my dogs while they run up to me and give me lots of hugs and kisses. Home to me is sitting down at the table and playing card games like Golf, Cheat, Remolie, And Mexican Trains. Home is getting comfy on the couch, turning on our new white fireplace and getting ready for a family movie night. Home to me is walking into Miniota rink on Miniota Minor Hockey day and seeing so many familiar faces, people crammed into our small rink. I feel safe even though I am not with my parents because I know pretty much everyone there.
