A new home, a new hope

Charlotte felt sick to her stomach. She was cold, and bored. Her dad and her alone, in a very musty apartment. She was grateful, but she always wished on a star for a new home. ? Suddenly one day, her dad walked with her to a small blue house. It was beautiful. Guess what happened next? It was theirs! All thanks to Habitat For Humanity. ? After they moved in, something changed. Every morning when she woke up, she was warm and excited. That’s home. Everynight she had food and a bed. That’s home.? But most importantly, she felt loved, and had hope. Hope someday that she too, could help a family have a warm shelter. That’s home.❤
