Home

My home is a place where I can express myself and be myself. Home is where I am safe. It is the place where me and my family laugh. A house is a shelter, it is a place where I am protected from the rain, snow and cold. where I can stay warm. If it's too hot, my house has windows so I can open it to stay cool. A home does not have to be in a house, it can be in an apartment building, in a basement, it can even be in a homeless shelter for people less fortunate. You can have a home in an airport too. It is very sad that many people in this world do not have a nice comfortable home where they can be safe and have fun with their family. Some things that remind me of home are my moms homemade roti and homemade pizza. A quote that reminds me of home is “home is the comfiest place to be” by Winnie the Pooh. Another one is “a house is made with walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams”- this one is by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Out of all of the places My home is my favourite place to be.
