What Home Means to Me

What home means to me is all the blood, sweat and tears that went into building the house, and inside is the laughter, love, family, friends, and pets. In my home, I feel safe and comforted. The nice sound of me, my sisters and my dog Ellie laughing while playing hockey slapshot on our Wii console. My family lives in a small town. It is a lovely town to live in, I have lovely neighbours and they have a golden retriever named Penny. They had a baby on May 23. My other neighbour is in my class, he is one of my friends, he is 10 years old. Most of my family lives in my town and occasionally, we go visit my grandparents and great-grandparents, my dad’s dad’s mom lives across the street from us so in the winter I go and shovel her front and back deck and driveway. My dad’s mom’s mom lives across town from my family. We don’t have lots of stores in my town, we only have the L.C.B.O, Valu mart and two convenience stores. We also have Subway and Tim Hortons. I go to school and I have lots of friends here and family. I play hockey for the Puckhounds, it is an all-girls team I love playing on the Puckhounds, two of my friends from my class are on my team.
