What Home Means to Me...

A home is not just a place where you sleep and wake up, it’s a place to reflect how my day was. Good or bad. When I think of it I think of a home as a place where you can chill or relax when drinking a cup of coffee by a warm fire while reading a book. Feeling safe and loved in the place I come home to everyday that I am proud to call home. Home is not a place that is always the cleanest or most tidy, but where the walls are full of pictures and my bed is full of blankets. When I come down stairs I smell the fresh baked muffins in the morning and fresh baked buns and at night the table is set and the buns are in the oven, salad and chicken on the counter. Sitting with all my family reflecting on our days whether it was good or not, sharing funny stories. I go to bed in my comfy bed with my blinds closed, my stomach full and I am ready for a new day in my home.
