Bastian Finds The True Meaning of Home

One day there was a boy named Bastian. He lived in the city slums, a place with run down buildings and a lot of poverty. He was angry, he hated it there. One night Bastian decided to leave his house and run away forever! Unfortunately Bastian did not realize that he didn’t bring any food or water with him. Anyways Bastian went to Bullocks, which is a huge city near the slums. He wanted to escape his family forever! Bastian was forced to sleep on the streets and eat out of the garbage. One day Bastian went into an alleyway hoping to find some food but what he found instead was shocking! He found a mage! The mage said, “Hi Bastian”. Bastian was shocked the mage knew his name! No one knew Bastian other than his family. So, Bastian asked the mage how he knew his name and the mage said, “Don’t worry about that,” but what you do need to know is that you need to go home. You need to be grateful because some people don’t even have a house. After the encounter with the mage, Bastian thought about all the people who don't have a home and then a thought about himself. Bastian decided to go home and be grateful for what he has.
