A Special Place With A Special Meaning

Home isn’t just a structure like a house with walls, floors and a roof. Home is a place which is comfortable and safe. Home is not always a house. For example, bears can call a cave home and so can bats. Squirrels live comfortably in trees collecting nuts for the winter, and birds also can make a nest in tall trees as their home. All these animals, the bats, the bears, the birds, the squirrels and us humans all have something in common. Even though they live in different places they all feel safe and protected in their own homes. Another thing we humans and all the mentioned animals have in common with our homes, is that home is a place to spend time with our family, friends and loved ones. A home can consist of parents, kids, grandparents and even pets. Home is where we gather with friends and family to enjoy special moments of our lives and make fond memories all together. It is a place where the parents raise their children, humans and animals too, until they are grown up and ready to make a home for themselves and their family.
