A Home
A home is a place to eat with your family on a cold winter day. It’s a cozy warm bed that you sleep in all night. It’s the snuggly, sleepy feeling when you put the blankets on yourself at night. It’s when you come home from school, and it smells like the tasty food my mom is making in the oven for supper. A home means food and water when you need it.
Home is a place to have fun playing games with your family in front of the fireplace at 11:00 pm.
A home is a comfy, safe place to protect you from bad weather.
Home to me means a family that loves you and helps you when you need it.
Everyone deserves a nice, decent home to live in.
So, let’s say thank-you to Habitat For Humanity for giving a home to people who can’t afford it.
