My Home Book

My home is the best place in the world. I live with my parents, grandmother and my dog, Neel. When everyone is home I feel so happy. My parents encourage me to read and I have a library in my room. Home is like the different kinds of books we read. Books come in different sizes and shapes, but the content is important. Houses come in different shapes and sizes as well, but the home is made by whoever lives inside the house. Home is like a recipe book. The preparation and mix of the right ingredients make a nice meal. Living together with a family, respect for each other, safety, and comfort are the right ingredients for home and create a tasty meal of happiness and memories. Home is like an inspirational book which inspires you to a whole new world of happiness and love. The place where I get support and advice for my future aiding me to survive and learn to rise to the top! Home is like an autobiography where I document my experiences while growing up. The pictures on the wall are reminders of good times with my family. A place where we socialize and meet new people and create stories. Home is like a history book where I learn from my elders about their experiences and share stories from the past. It is also a place where I learn about my culture and where my parents came from. Home is like a comic where you have funny moments with your family such as when my dog licks my face or drops his toys in my boots. As books are important for learning, home is a space where we grow and learn. Everyone deserves to have a house they can call “HOME”!
