What Home Means To Me

Home to me is listening to the birds chirp in the morning. My house is a place to live in and sleep in. Home is when you're cuddling with your family before you go to bed. Houses are for living in and eating in. Homes are when you're with your family. Houses are for shelter and protection. Home is wherever your family is. That is home to me. Home means a lot more than a house to me. Homes are for love and memories on the walls and in the books. Houses are for people, homes are for families. Houses are for food and water and money. Home is for nice people and friends and family. And I hope through the Habitat for Humanity community that everyone can get a home that they deserve. That's what home means to me.
