What Home Is Made Of Home is made of love. Like, when your family gives you a big tight hug when you are lonely, or when you get tucked in by your parents. Home is made of protection. Like when your sibling stands up for when you get bullied, or when there’s a thunderstorm and you have a roof over your head. Home is made of warmness. Like the warmness of the cosy thick cotton blankets wrapped around you in your bed when it’s cold outside. Home is made of acceptance. Like when you wear different clothes than others when nobody makes fun of you, or when you have a different skin colour than you and people aren’t racist to you. Home is made of family. Like when you sit on your comfy couch with your family watching a movie on your tv, or when you go to a special place with your family. That’s what family feels like. Home is made of the heart inside your chest, I really want to help those in need of finding a house for them to make it a home like the one I have but filled with memories of their own. By Hayden
