The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I feel loved by my people. I wake up to my alarm with my fluffy teddy bear in my arms and try to get out of the warm blanket I slept in. I go downstairs with my mom and dad saying, “good morning” and eat the freshly made warm breakfast that my dad made me. I go down to my basement and play with my little brother. We play games together and have fun. I am happy to have a lovely family that loves me. Home is a place where I can feel safe and comfortable. I feel protected from my parents and the locks on the doors so no bad guys can come in. I feel comfortable because at home I can do stuff that I can’t do at school. Like singing loud, fight with my little brother, and be crazy all day. Lastly, I feel grateful to have a home that I can feel loved, safe and comfortable.
