My Home

Home! When I am home I feel the softness of my furry little dog Yukon, when he is cuddling with me after school. Soft, adorable, fluffy. Home! When I am in my home I smell the yummy food my mom makes for dinner every night. Delicious, good, hard working. Home! When I walk into my home I see my mom, my dad and puppy greeting me when I come home from school. Family, love, happiness. Home! When I am at my home I hear all of the happy memories that my family and I made in the past. Laughing, home, memories. Home! At my home I can taste the home-made cinnamon buns my nana makes for my family with lots of love and care every year. Siblings, tradition, care. My home is not just those 5 senses, it is much more than that. I have lived in my home for all of my life. For 2 years I lived with my 3 brothers, my mom and my dad. Now I live with only 1 of my brothers, my mom and dad. Even though my brothers moved away I still love them. My home is one of my favourite places to be, where I know my family loves and cares about me. Where I feel protected, and safe, and where I know I can continue my journey in life when my family supports me and always has my back along the way. My home is not a house because a house is just a couple of walls and a roof and my home is where I grew up in and where I hope to keep living. I personally think you can turn your house into your home if you make a lot of memories in it and if you put some of your love and time into it, it could become your home.
