My Home

In my home I feel safe when I go to bed and when I wake up. I feel comfort as I flop onto my bed and read a book. I feel loved when my parents squeeze me tight and tell me “we love you”! In the morning I wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and I see my brother sitting by the fire. In the morning I see a fresh coat of snow on the ground through my window. I get up and straighten my wrinkled bed. On the weekends I wake up to the sound of my brother watching television and the birds chirping. Every Friday me and my family watch a movie and eat home made pizza on the couch. The pizza is so goey and delicious, I feel at home. I hope that Habitat for Humanity will help others find a home like mine and help them feel safe and loved!
