House vs. Home

A house is just a building. A house is just a place. A home isn’t just a building. A home isn’t just a place. A home is where I smell my mom’s homemade meals or my dads home baked cookies, muffins or cake. My home is where I feel loved, safe and warm. Home is where I have my own memories of my family. Home is where I have sleepovers with my friends. Home is a safe and quiet place I like to be. Watch a family movie on my mom’s bed, go get ice-cream with my cousins, go for a bike ride with my dad. I also feel at home at my cabin. Going swimming with my cousins or going tubing on the lake or when my friends come over to swim at the beach. I hope people get a cozy home to. This is my “meaning of home” writing.
