The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a place where I feel safe and loved by all my caring people. Home is a loving place not just a structure. Every house is unique in your own way. There are many different feelings you can feel in a home like being sad, happy, sick or mad. It’s a place where I can keep all my special things stored and where I'm accepted and welcomed. It's a place where you can be yourself. Home is a place to build memories with all your close family members. It's a place where you feel protected and it is filled with trustworthy people to help you with your struggles. It's where you have food, water and a nice place to keep warm. Home is where you can walk or bike down roads non-stop with friends or cousins while giggling and talking. It’s where you can enjoy a nice cold drink on a hot summer day. Home is where you can say “Hi!” to everyone you know because it’s a friendly community. Home is where you can lay in the fresh long green grass gossiping having a joyful time with friends and family. And that is why every person needs a home. I love home!
