The Meaning of Home to Me

In this essay I will be informing you about what home means to me. One thing that home means to me is a helpful family to get me through tough times. A quiet and safe place to be is another thing that shows what home means to me. It is also a place where I have lived and learned throughout the years. I hope you enjoy reading my essay. A helpful and supportive family that has helped me through good and bad times. If I do something differently they're always there to help me learn how to do it properly or learn better ways to do so. They've been there most of my life and if they aren't there then my friends are. If something happens they'll always be there to help me get through it, even if it takes a long time they'll never give up on me. A helpful and supportive family is something everyone deserves. A quiet and safe place is what my home is to me. If it ever gets too loud I always have somewhere quiet to be, whether it's my room, the living room, the basement or wherever my quiet place is at that moment. My house has always been a safe place to be even though there are times where I fall and get hurt or I scare my cat and she scratches me, it's almost always been a safe place for me. There's always some type of comfort around me in my home, whether it's my family, my books, my surroundings or just knowing that I am loved in my home. In my opinion, everyone deserves a quiet and safe place to live where they know that they are loved. My home to me is a place for me to live and learn the ways of life. It's where my first fight with my siblings took place and where I learned how to fix it. It's where my family taught me right from wrong and how to help people in need. It has also been the place where I learned how to read and write and how to help around the house. It's also where I learned how to live with my mistakes and make the best of it. Everyone makes mistakes in life, you just have to learn how to get over it and move on with life. A helpful and supportive family is something that you need to get through the tough times in life. A safe and quiet home is something I've always had. My home is a place where I live and learn new things everyday. And with Habitat for humanity more people will be able to experience what home means to them.
