A Safe Place

“What is a safe place? What is it like to have a safe shelter? Can I be in a safe area?” questions like this are usually answered in different ways. Simply explained, a safe place is a place where you belong, you have people that you can talk to, you can sleep without any worries, and lots more. In my eyes my safe place is feeling okay to be alone because I'm not as social as other people, having someone to talk to all the time without needing to hesitate, a warm place with air conditioning, and a lot more. Unfortunately home may not exist for some people, their houses might have been somehow destroyed or never existed at all but a safe place doesn't mean a place with beds and tables it can mean with people you feel safe with, people who have been with you, or in general, your family. So a safe place is with the people you love, a place without worries about your life. A safe place is a home.
