Home Sweet Home

Home sweet home. A place where you feel safe, loved, and hopeful. Home means many different things to many different people. It means different traditions, different religions, and different languages. Homes come in different shapes and sizes whether it's in the woods or in an apartment. It means having supper with family and friends, tasting the chili along with crackers or smelling the bacon sizzling on the pan ready to be eaten. Feeling the rain run through your fingers as you step outside, it means laughing along with your relatives. Waking up to the chirps of birds in a warm bed and seeing the smiling faces of family. A home doesn’t have to have people in it though, a home could mean just hearing the silence as you walk through your home or feeling the cool fresh air on your skin. A home could mean anything but this is what it means to me. It means having a place to stay, a place for you to call home.
