What Home Is To Me A home is where you feel loved, safe and not alone. I feel at home when I am with my family because it's where I am most comfortable. SAFETY Home is a place where you feel safe and where you don't get made fun of or hurt. At night if you don’t feel safe you can snuggle up with your favorite stuffie or your blanket. Also in your home you probably have a safe place where you can go if you're feeling sad, for me it's my bedroom. FOOD At your home you might have a special day where you will have special food like taco Tuesday or pizza Friday. Just something that makes you happy. For me, my favorite is sushi Friday because my favorite food is sushi and I get to sit with my family and talk. We all get to regroup if we need to. FAMILY When you're at home you feel secure because you have family to make you feel loved. Your family will cheer you up when you are sad or angry. At home your family can read a book to you at night so that you can sleep better. Your home is different from another house because all your favorite things are in your home and where you feel the most comfortable. That is how you know if your house is a home. By Ben Pomeroy
