There’s No Place Like Home

Home is a place where I feel safe, warm and loved. It feels like the family I love which brings me joy. Home tastes like the food I eat. The marvelous chocolate chip cookies my nana makes lovingly, and the outstanding breakfast my dad prepares me bacon and eggs and buttered toast. The sounds of home are beautiful, it sounds like popcorn on movie night where my family is cuddling on the couch or bacon sizzling on the pan in the morning. Home has a lot of sights to see such as my family having fun playing cards in a house filled with joy, love, and respect. Finally, the smells of home are delightful. My favorite smells are bacon on a Sunday morning with toast and waffles with maple syrup, and the amazing Yorkshire puddings my nana makes fresh from the oven for dinner. Also, the mashed potatoes are warm and lovely. In conclusion, everyone who has a home should be grateful to know how lucky they are to have such a special place because there’s no place like home.
