Home Is Where My Heart Lives

My home is a wonderful place where I can be me. My home is a place where I feel free. In my home, I feel safe and secure, everywhere I go is so familiar. I have a shelter to cover me from the cold snow, A warm, cozy place where I can go. My family gives me the warmest hugs and the most delicious hot chocolate filled mugs. I know that I’m home when I smell my mom’s chocolate candles and yummy oatmeal cookies straight from the oven with steaming hot handles. My blankets and stuffies that crowd my bed make me feel special when I lay down my head. My home is the best place for me. There's no other place I could feel so happy. by: Avery Wilson
